The role:

The Wireless Campaign & Execution team is seeking a dynamic Channel Marketing Specialist to flawlessly execute marketing offers and new product/service into all retail channels.

 

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Channel Marketing, the ideal candidate has strong communication skills and has retail sales/support experience. In the ever-changing telecom sales environment, they need to be flexible, have strong time management skills and be capable of balancing many projects simultaneously with short deadlines for completion.  They are detail oriented, sales minded and analytical with the ability to think outside the box.  It’s imperative that the candidate is proactive and has a strong sense of urgency to win market share. This high performing individual needs to have demonstrated success with influencing team members and delivering results with cross functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flawless and timely execution of new products, services and offers in all retail channels.
  • Work cross-functionally with campaign, retail channels, product, pricing, marketing communications, channel and IT to develop and execute programs end-to-end
  • Manage the creation, launch and expiration of offers for individual retail channels and regions
  • Summarize relevant offers for presentation to sales team leaders
  • Create competitive comparisons and sales job aids for retail sales reps.
  • Understands regional differences and executes support elements accordingly.
  • Experience in analysing data to build recommendations to improve sales trajectories.
  • Manage channel communication content to support execution excellence.
  • Work cross functionally to summarize various campaign priorities and product launches into a concise and visually appealing presentation for retail sales leaders.

 

Critical Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing/channel role (wireless and/or telco an asset).
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Driven to get things done with an insatiable drive to improve process and build relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with the ability to get things done by influence.
  • Creative with the ability to think outside the box when developing channel summaries and competitive comparisons.
  • Strong analytical skills in order to be able to interpret data and generate insight and action.
  • Experienced in developing programs, providing recommendations based on results and making decisions.
  • Presents in front of a group with ease.
  • Comfortable working autonomously or as a team member.

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
