Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
- Co-Anchor 6:00pm News Monday-Friday
- Write, produce and co-anchor Saskatchewan’s Number 1 rated Noon & Supper Newscasts
- Provide a leadership role as a member of the News team
- Represent CTV in a community relations role
- Periodically anchor/report on weekends/statutory holidays
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma from an accredited Journalism program
- Senior News Position - Minimum three years experience in TV News Reporting and Anchoring
- Solid editorial judgment; value excellence
- Excellent writing skills and strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills; the ability to work independently and as member of a team
- Ability to work well in a deadline-driven team environment
- Computer literacy; experience in iNews & Inscriber a definite asset
- HD news production experience considered an asset
- Ability to edit digitally
